Those of you who follow my work regularly will have noticed that I’ve been posting an unusual style of photograph recently. The photographs often have a blurred, painterly effect, even a little abstract, which has probably led some of you to believe that either...Read More
This project is an impressionistic look at some of the famous architecture, both old and new, and the maritime heritage of the Liverpool Waterfront. The method of abstraction in this case involved photographing the reflections in the very water on which Liverpool’s maritime history was built.Read More
This last week has been a pretty busy time, what with moving house and a few other things that have been going on too. The most important thing that has happened in my life, that affects you folks, is that my business is undergoing change.
Well it's due to a few things that have been going on as of late but mainly I needed to change a few things up. My photography work is always changing, it's how we grow as creative people; always pushing new boundaries, never settling on the here and now. Whilst this change is not a bad thing it does mean that I have to make sure that my public presence reflects how I work, the work that I create and the people that I create it for.
As a consequence of this, I have outgrown and left behind "The Other James Partridge". He served me well but from now on my business and my website is known simply as "James Partridge Photography". Simplicity is key. With this change in name comes a few other changes, purely for administration purposes.
My logo has changed, along with the general look of my website.
My website URL is now: www.jamespartridge.photo (That is .photo, not .com). For the time being my old URL will continue to redirect you here though.
My new contact email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org
My twitter and instagram profiles have changed username to "JamesP_Photo"
My Facebook "Fan page" will hopefully be changing too (if the Facebook overlords will allow it). This will be known as "James Partridge Photography" assuming they allow the change.
Apart from that, I'm still me and nothing else has really changed for the majority of you good people. With that I'll leave you for now.
